Title:
BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3515144
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce cogging torque by forming only the first coil winding-start section of a plurality of each phase coil and a specific number of a coil winding- end section in electrical in-phase and imparting specific electrical phase difference to the winding-end sections and winding-start sections of other coils.
CONSTITUTION: A brushless motor is represented by C=P×m, the number of slots (q) at every pole and every phase are represented by q=S/ (P×m), where (q) is set to be a noninteger number or a number which is not a multiple of 0.5. Here, P (the number of poles) is represented by an even number and C (the number of coils), (m) (the number of phases) and S (the slot number of a stator) are represented by positive integers. ((S+1)/P-1) slot pitches are used as coil pitches, each coil 1 to 12 of (m) phases consists of C/m numbers, the first coil winding-start section 13 and the C/m-th coil winding-end section 18 of each phase coil 1 to 12 are formed to be electrically in-phase, and the coil winding-end sections 14, 16 and winding-start sections 15, 17 of other coils 1 to 12 are given electrical phase difference of (360/S) × (P/2).
