Title:
BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05146133
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to generate a start torque by locating the boundary of magnetic poles of a rotor magnet just above stator coil during a motor stop by arranging a magnetic sensor with a built-in magnetism collecting chip between stator coils in a brushless motor of half-wave drive method.

CONSTITUTION: Currents are sequentially applied to the neighboring two-phase stator coils 2a, 2b, and a rotor magnet 1 is magnetically absorbed and repulsed by rotating magnetic field and rotated and driven. Then, by a magnetic sensor 4 placed below the rotor magnet 1, the rotating position is detected by the alternately magnetized magnetic poles of the rotor magnet 1 and rotation control is performed. When currents are applied to the stator coils 2a, 2b, the rotor magnet 1 stops in such a manner that the magnetic sensor 4 comes above the line of the center angle of either one of the magnetic poles due to magnetic absorption. Thus, for the restarting, the start torque can be generated by applying a current to either one of the systems of stator coils 2a and 2b.
