Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a bucket wheel type unloader which can improve the transporting ability in the case of transporting articles being bad in fluidity and large in specific gravity.
CONSTITUTION: The shape of a chute 38A for transferring a transported article 32 raked by a bucket 42 onto a finned conveyor 34 is set up so that the inclination angle of the chute 38A may be larger than the angle of repose of the transported article 32, and the setting position of the upper end of the chute 38A is set at a position where the transported article 32 is first released from the bucket 42, and the sectional shape of the chute 38A is formed into a curved line swelling in the rotating direction of a bucket wheel 28. The inclination angle of the chute 38A can thereby be made steep in a slope, and the start position of chuting can be set up to be early. Thus even in the case of transporting articles 32 which are bad in fluidity and large in specific gravity, they can be transferred onto the finned conveyor 34 without partially piling up them. In addition, since the number of revolutions of the bucket wheel 28 can be increased, transporting ability can be improved.
