Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the sewing process to simplify the constitution by connecting one longitudinal end of a band cloth to a buckle member for engaging an end metal fitting of a seat belt for vehicle, and burying the other end in synthetic resin to form an integral anchor part made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:One longitudinal end of a band cloth 10 as a core material is connected to a buckle member 22 for inserting and engaging an end metal fitting 30 of a seat belt 28, and the other end is buried as an integral part into an anchor part 16 made of synthetic resin. As the synthetic resins, epoxy resin, amino resin,etc., with large compressive strength, durability, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance are used, each end part 10a, 10b of the band cloth is buried into the resins, and each part of the cloth is impregnated with a part of the synthetic resins to form an integral part of the anchor part. Thus, there is no need of sewing each end part 10a, 10b of the band cloth, and the anchor part can be easily manufactured. Further, metal fitting such as an anchor plate is not needed, and the entire constitution can thus be simplified.
