Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building board which is excellent in appearance, and good in dimensional stability.
SOLUTION: When a pair of the building boards are connected together, a deep slot 6A is defined at a joint portion. In order to make the deep slot 6A inconspicuous, similar deep slots 6 are formed in a surface of the building board 1 in parallel with the deep slot 6A at regular intervals. Further, in order to impart randomness to the appearance of the building board, a plurality of longitudinal and transverse shallow slots 7, 8 are formed in the surface of the board. The deep slot 6 functions to absorb expansion and contraction of the board and improves the dimensional stability of the board.
