Abstract:
To provide a frame member for a building which has high fireproof performance and high production efficiency, and can be manufactured at low cost.SOLUTION: A window frame member made of synthetic resin is placed within a frame of a frame member having a fixed frame used for a building and has a cavity part inside thereof in a longitudinal direction. A molded thermally expanding and flame resistant heat insulation material is inserted in the cavity part over the entire longitudinal length of the cavity part. A temperature at which a volume of the thermally expanding and flame resistant heat insulation material maximally expands is within a range of 300°C or more and less than 600°C, and at the maximally expanding temperature, the thermally expanding and flame resistant heat insulation material blocks the cavity part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
