Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make lightweight building material by disposing the part of the root of thick-stemmed bamboo or true bamboo on the circumferential part of the column of a steel pipe which is a core on the surface of the column and compressing, and sticking bamboo of a slender part and an arrow bamboo part to the adhesion face of the steel pipe.
SOLUTION: Four divided thick-stemmed bamboo or true bamboo of a desired number is pressed to be formed into flat plates, which are mutually adhered by using an adhesive to form a multi-layer outside plate 1. The half-divisions of the arrow bamboo of a desired number, the four-divisions of the slender part of the residue and a branch are mutually pressed and adhered to mold thick-plate-like boards 1, 2, and press-fitted on a steel pipe 3 by the adhesive by means of a press machine with a feeder. Thus, since all of bamboo material are used up to the branch a material cost is made inexpensive by avoiding waste, they are lightweight and bending strength can be enlarged.
