Abstract:
PURPOSE: To build an underground structure of large section which is easy in execution, firm, and high in accuracy, by burying hollow segments made of steel.
CONSTITUTION: When after hollow segments 2 with temporary joint pipes are replaced with pilot pipes 1 while adding in order so as to bury the hollow segments 2 in one line between shafts, the next hollow segments 2 with the temporary joint pipes are buried in order on one side of the former, while pushing forward the temporary joint pipe 8 of the precedingly buried hollow segment 2 by the male joint pipe 2a of this hollow segment 2, the male joint part 2a of this hollow segment 2 is engaged with the female joint part 2b covered with the temporary joint pipe 8 and propelled. A plurality of lines of the hollow segments 2 are buried on the sectional positions of a planned underground structure, adjoining hollow segments 2 front and rear, right and left, are integratedly connected together by bolts, and the hollow segments 2 are filled with concrete therein, so as to build a firm underground structure.
