Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building plate printing device capable of coping with small-lot multi-kind production by making a plate for printing unnecessary by utilizing ink jet technique.
SOLUTION: Cell parts 2a, having predetermined shapes, are arranged around the surface of circumference of a gravure roll 2 with a predetermined pitch. An ink jet mechanism 3 is provided with respective recording heads 31-34 for injecting ink of respective colors cyan, magenta, yellow and black against respective cells and a printing controller 35. One image element of an image to be printed is formed of neighboring 13 pieces of cell parts. The printing controller 35 obtains one image element having a desired color density by changing the area rate of an ink dot of four kinds of C, M, Y, K based on the color data of respective image elements of the image to be printed. The ink, supplied to respective cells 2a of the gravure roll 2, is transferred to the surface of the building plate 8 through an offset roll 5.
