Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive building unit that can be easily installed and fulfill a function of providing a public wireless LAN access point.SOLUTION: A building unit U comprises: a structure body with a roof, a base and a pillar; a solar cell panel 11 on the roof; a power conditioner 13 converting DC power generated by the solar cell panel to AC power; a storage battery 20 storing the AC current; and an access point 40 powered by the AC power, constructing a wireless LAN with an information processor C in a predetermined area and including access means connecting the information processor to a communication network. In the building unit U, the structure body and the solar cell panel are integrated.
