Abstract:

To provide a built-in stool with a mirror which is free of operation of bending moment on a wall face and subjected to operation of downward load only on a wall itself, thus making it possible to form the thinner wall of a mounting portion, and which is easily mounted with simple reform, smoothly and surely set or stored in a usable condition by children or women, gives a wide-spread feeling to a hallway with the mirror and serves to make up personal appearance.

A built-in stool 10 and a full-length mirror 20 are mounted between a pair of stile materials 18 vertically set up on a wall in horizontal spaced relation so as to operate downward load only on the stile materials. The built-in stool 10 has a leg member 12 extending to the vertical direction, a guide member 14 movably guiding the leg member between a storage position and usage position and a seat member 16 mounted on the guide member. The guide member 14 always holds the leg member 12 in parallel to the wall face with a parallel link mechanism having upper and lower link members 14a, 14b, while the lower end of the leg member 12 has in contact with a floor surface at the usage position to keep the upper face of the seat member 16 horizontal.
