Title:
一括投入硬貨の分離装置、及び硬貨取扱装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4613278
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

To provide a device for separating simultaneously inserted coins capable of separating a plurality of simultaneously and vertically inserted coins from one another during a process for conveying the coins while keeping them at their initial positions, and of supplying them to a sensor, in such a way as to achieve separation of high accuracy without increasing the length and height of a conveyance path, increasing the number of part items, or making the structures of individual components complex.

The device includes the conveyance path 10 having a bottom plate 11 and sidewalls 21, 22; a belt mechanism 30 tilted so that its amount of projection toward a separating feed surface 31a increases as it extends downstream to make a coin passage width get smaller, the belt mechanism being rotated in the direction of backfeed; and a feed roller 40 that forms a passage width for one coin between a separation belt 31 and the separating feed surface at a downstream opposite position of the belt to the separating feed surface. A guide groove 12 deep and wide enough to allow one coin of the greatest thickness to fit therein and be guided downstream while in a self-sustained state is formed on the bottom plate along the sidewalls. A retreat area 22a for reducing the resistance of contact between the side of the coin and the second sidewall is formed in each of the sidewalls.
