To provide a bunker structure in a golf course capable of being easily applied even to the existing bunker and preventing the bunker sand from flowing down even in a heavy rain fall.
The bunker structure includes a culvert drain section 20 placed around the terminal end section 5 of a predetermined slope 3 of a soil bedrock 2 and a bunker sand flowing down prevention mat 10 provided between the slope 3 and the bunker sand 6 to enable the bunker sand 6 to hold, the bunker sand flowing down prevention mat 10 is so constituted that the lower end section 11 thereof is connected to the culvert drain section 20, at the same time, it is excellent in permeability in comparison with the bunker sand 6 and that water flowing thereinto is led to the culvert drain section 20.
