Abstract:
PURPOSE: To preclude the turning of a burner air box and prevent a bending stress from being applied on a burner panel by a method wherein lugs are provided at the side of a truss back stay, supporting a side wall, and the side of the air box, opposed to the back stay, respectively while these lugs are connected by vertical axial pins through truss back stay coupling links.
CONSTITUTION: In an air box 1 for a burner, attached to a corner firing boiler, a back stay for front wall tube or a horizontal back stay 5 is connected to an air box side lug, opposed to the horizontal back stay 5, by a horizontal back stay coupling link 6 through a vertical axial pin. Further, the air box 1 is connected by a side wall side furnace wall coupling link 7A and a front wall side furnace wall coupling link 7B, arranged symmetrically from the side end of the front wall 8B and a side wall 8A of a burner panel. Furthermore, a lug at the side of a truss back stay 4, involving a duct 3, is connected to the air box side lug by a truss back stay coupling link 13 through another vertical axial pin whereby the air box 1 is supported horizontally.
