Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce NOx without generating the deterioration in combustion efficiency as well as the increasing of size of a combustion device, in a pulverized coal burner.
CONSTITUTION: In a pulverized coal burner provided with a pulverized coal nozzle 11, a secondary air nozzle 12, a tertially air nozzle 13 concentrically, an annular spacer 18 is provided between the secondary air nozzle and the tertially air nozzle so that the end face of the spacer will never be flush with the tapered surface of the outer tube of the tertially air nozzle. According to this method, circulating flow is formed near the end face of the spacer whereby the flame keeping property of low air ratio flame can be improved.
