This method includes the steps of obtaining a ferrite core molding 10 of a flattened cylinder shape, having a flat section and having a flattened through-hole 11 therein, inserting a supporting pole 12 having a heat resistance for the temperatures of a ferrite burning temperature or higher into the through- hole 11 of the mold 10 along its one end side of the hole 11 to suspend the molding 10 with the pole 12 held horizontally, and suspending the mold 10 by the pole 12 and burning the molding in the suspended condition.
