Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burning inhibitor capable of conducting a safe and efficient burning inhibition treatment of a combustible material, providing a sufficient burning inhibition effect with one treatment, and further generating no problem on appearance by alkali burning on a wooden material, a burning inhibition method of the combustible material using the burning inhibitor and a combustible material containing the burning inhibitor.SOLUTION: An aqueous solution containing boric acid, borate and phosphate and ethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol of less than 15 wt.%, the content of the boric acid and inorganic salts containing borate and phosphate is set at a total of 25 to 45 wt.% and the pH of the aqueous solution at room temperature is set at 7 to 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
