Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the common use of a unit regardless of the type of the unit by performing selectively the transmission of the data received from other units to an internal bus, the output control of the data received from other units to a lower rank side connector, and the output control of the data on an internal bus of its own unit to the lower rank side connector. CONSTITUTION:The buffer circuits BF1 - BF3 are controlled based on the control data received from an internal bus IB of its own unit and the request data received from a bus arbitrating means BAC. Then the selective operations are carried out among the transmission of the data received from other units to the bus IB, the output control of the data received from other units to a lower rank side connector CN2, and the output control of the data on the bus IB of its own unit to the connector CN2. In such a constitution, any type of units can be used in common to each other.
