A table for defining the calculating formula model of the assessment index and corresponding relationship between the assessment index and the assessment purpose is managed by a database 102, and an assessment index model fitting the assessment purpose designated by a user is extracted/provided. For assessing the business portfolio, business investment allocation is displayed by a pie chart, investment allocation information is updated by adjusting the allocation area of the displayed pie chart, and the calculation of the assessment index is executed.
