This business form preparation device is provided with a database for storing business form data in a common format obtained by converting working data in a tabular format prepared based on application data in different formats into a common format independent of the format of the application data, extraction information for preparing a virtual table by extracting the business form data in the common format, and a virtual table prepared based on the business form data in the common format and the extraction information; a virtual table preparation means for preparing the virtual table in a predetermined format in the database based on the business form data in the common format and the extraction information stored in the database; and an extraction information designation means for designating the extraction information for the virtual table preparation means.
