Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butt terminal of two-part constitution which can decrease a number of part item of a female type terminal, reduce its size, ensure a sufficient fitting displacement amount and obtain stable conduction.
SOLUTION: It this butt terminal 1 of two-part constitution, a female type terminal 2 and a male type terminal 3 provided with a slide contact piece 9 are butted to be conductively connected, and the female type terminal 2 has a casing 4 of conducive material, cut raised piece 7 bent toward inside rearward in at least one surface of first opposed surfaces 5a, 5b of one of the casing 4 and a slide groove 8 provided in parallel to the surface 5b in second opposed surfaces 6a, 6b of the other. A press part 10 brought into contact with the male type terminal 3, contact part 11 brought into contact with the cut raised part 7 in a rear end and a slide protrusion 12 guided by the slide groove 8 in intermediate both side edges are provided in the slide contact piece 9, and the piece 9 is insertion-mounted from a front end of the body of the casing 4.
