Abstract:
PURPOSE: To successively display a video image on a POS display screen so as to recognize the conditions around a designated seat by displaying the video image of a monitor camera on the POS display screen. CONSTITUTION: When a customer visits a shop, a video signal from the monitor camera installed to look out over the shop is superimposed and displayed on the sales picture of a POS. In this case, a CPU 2a of the POS sets the output of a latch circuit for performing display from the monitor camera. Then, the CPU 2a sets a video input start position and a display end position to the display position setting circuit of a display part control circuit within a prescribed range and sets the ON of video display. Further, when projecting the video image on the whole screen of the display part of the POS, it is enough only to set the input start position and the display end position and to set the ON of video display. By performing setting like this, at a display control circuit, the display of the POS and the monitor picture are switched in hardware manner and set on an LCD 2g. Therefore, the conditions showing the presence/ absence of vacant seats are confirmed on the POS screen.
