Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately screw a head fitting member in a rotating drum at a prescribed position without deforming the member.
CONSTITUTION: A head fitting member 3 with fitted magnetic heads 1, 2 is mounted on a rotating drum, positioning pins 27, 28 are inserted into positioning holes 15, 16 and the head fitting member 3 is moved in longitudinal and transverse directions so as to adjust the position and protrusion of the magnetic heads 1, 2. The member 3 is then screwed in the rotating drum.
