Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an effective utilization and a high operability of an operation switch arranged at a button holding sewing machine without damaging either a setting characteristic or a productivity.
SOLUTION: A button holing sewing machine 30 comprises a bed unit 31; a vertical trunk unit 32 raised from the bed unit; an arm unit 33; a sewing needle 34 installed at the lower end of a front part of the arm unit and moved up and down through rotation of a spindle motor 55; a feeding table 35 for moving a mounted sewn object in a horizontal plane by driving a feeding motor 56; and presser feet 37, 38 for pressing and holding the sewn object and arranged at a substantial central part of the feeding table 35. An operation switch unit 40 including an energization switch lever 41 and a presser foot switch lever 42 is supported at the corner part of the feeding table 35 facing at the vertical trunk unit 32. The energization switch lever 41 and the presser foot switch lever 42 are constituted in such a way that their positions can be adjusted while being placed near the presser feet 37, 38 and moved to or away from the presser feet.
