Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the closed circuit voltage characteristic and the capacity storing property of a button type alkaline battery simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: The negative electrode agent 1 and the positive electrode agent 5 of a button type alkaline battery are separated by a separator 6. As the separator 6 having the laminated structure, a first polyethylene film 7, to which the graft polymerization of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid is performed and which has a relatively small graft ratio and a large electrical resistance, a cellophane film 9, a second polyethylene film 8 having a relatively large graft ratio and a small electrical resistance are laminated to be formed integrally for use. The first graft-polymerized polyethylene film 7 having a large electrical resistance is arranged in the positive electrode agent 5 side. Deterioration of the cellophane film 9 is thereby prevented and the capacity storing ratio can be improved. On the other hand, the second polyethylene film 8 having a small electrical resistance is arranged in the positive electrode agent 1 side to improve the closed circuit voltage.
