Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new c type cytochrome gene useful for preparation of a cell reinforced in oxidizing ability.

CONSTITUTION: A C type cytochrome gene having a basic sequence coding an amino acid sequence expressed by the formula. The gene is isolated from total DNA of a bacterium of the genus Gluconobacter capable of producing cytochrome C-553.
