Abstract:

To provide a casting mold which is used in producing a Cu-Ga alloy slab by a melting and casting method, and with which a large Cu-Ga alloy slab can be manufactured by sufficiently suppressing generation of cracks.

A casting mold 100 includes a casting body 1 and a loped member 2. The sloped member 2 has a sloped surface 21 which extends so as to be closer to a bottom surface 12 of the casting body 1 with increasing distance from an opening 11 of the casting body 1 and decreasing distance to the inside. A gap G as an opening for pouring hot metal of Cu-Ga alloy into the casting body 1 is formed between a tip end part 22 of the sloped member 2 and an inner circumference surface of the casting body 1.
