Title:
COATED HOT DIP Al-Zr ALLOY PLATED STEEL SHEET HAVING EXCELLENT WORKABILITY AND CORROSION RESISTANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3566261
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated hot dip Al-Zn alloy plated steel sheet which has excellent workability and corrosion resistance.
SOLUTION: The front and back faces of a steel sheet are respectively provided with an Al-Zn alloy plated layer consisting of dendrite parts, an interdendrite part present on the space between the dendrite parts, and a boundary alloy layer present on their boundaries. Either or both of the surface and back faces are provided, as an upper layer of the Al-Zn alloy plated layer, with a chemical conversion treatment layer, or an organic coating film layer via a primer layer as well. The Al-Zn alloy plated layer contains, by mass, 25 to 75% Al, >1 to 5% Si, and Sr in the range of 0.2 to 2% of the Si content, or further contains one or more kinds selected from Cr, V and Zr by 0.01 to 2.0% in total. Further, the concentration of Sr in the interdendrite part is preferably 20 to 150 times the average Sr concentration in the Al-Zn alloy plated layer.
