To provide a cabin for a hydraulic shovel and a supporting structure of the cabin capable of securing the strength of the cabin by making use of the space in a double panel constituting the cabin.
The cabin has an outer panel 92 and an inner panel 93 for side walls to be laid one over the other, and a hollow pillar 95 extending in the vertical direction is formed by laying the panels 92 and 93 one over the other, and a reinforcing member 94 made from a metal plate extending over the whole extent in the longitudinal direction of the pillar is installed in a part between the panels 92 and 93 where the pillar is to be formed, wherein the two panels 92 and 93 are laid one over the other in the condition that the reinforcing member 94 is in contact substantially with their inner side faces.
