This cabinet with the sliding door comprises a cabinet group formed of a plurality of cabinets aligned and disposed into a straight line, a top plate member mounted and fixed along the upper face of the cabinet group, a skirt member disposed in the lower face of the cabinet group and supporting the lower face of the cabinet group, a rail member disposed on the top plate member and extending in parallel to the cabinet alignment direction, and the sliding door attached to the rail member and movable along the rail member; the rail member is extended at least longer than the whole width of the cabinet group; and the top plate member is detachable to the upper face of the cabinet group.
