To provide a cabinet which prevents stored goods on a shelf board thereof from falling in a gap between a front edge of the shelf board and each sliding door to be broken, or from breaking the sliding door and jumping out of the same on a front side.

A cupboard (A) has a main body (1), and the sliding doors (2, 3) and internal doors (4, 5) arranged on the front side of the same. The sliding doors (2, 3) are openable by horizontally moving along guide portions (6, 7) without making contact with each other. When the sliding doors (2, 3) assume a closed position, the front side of the cupboard is flush and has not a gap therebetween. The internal doors (4, 5) are openable by horizontally moving in the vicinity of a front portion of the shelf board (16). Further the sliding doors (2, 3) and the internal doors (4, 5) are openable/closable in interlock with each other by interlocking members (41) that each have one end thereof fixed to the internal door (4), and a change of a momentum in a depth direction occurring when the sliding doors (2, 3) are opened/closed, is absorbed by reciprocative motion of the other end of each interlocking member (41) in a guide pipe (24) of the sliding door (2).
