A protruding part 60d of the lock releasing member 60, when the lock releasing member 60 is pulled, acts on a latch claw member 56 to put the latch claw member 56 in a lock released state. The protruding part 60d vertically has guide grooves 60da, 60db. A shield cover 59 has guide parts 59b2, 59b3 at a part facing an opening 59b1 of a side plate part 59b. The protruding part 60d moves in the guide grooves 60da, 60db by being guided by the guide parts 59b2, 59b3 while being restricted of displacement to the outside of the cable connector, and surely displaces the latch claw member 56 to have it in a lock released state.
