To solve a problem where the connection configuration of an optical cable network is complex and wide-ranging, it is therefore difficult to obtain the connection information of the core of an optical cable with a drawing, to obtain core connection information, to obtain the use information of the core, and to perform the connection/disconnection of the core in the group of designated optical cables.
An optical cable core network management system is provided with: an input device 1 configured of a keyword, a mouse, and a GUI or the like; a central processing unit (CPU) 2; an equipment drawing file 3 in which the data of an equipment symbol and a map symbol has been stored; an attribute file 4 in which link information between each symbol and each equipment in the equipment drawing file 3 is stored; and a display device 5 for outputting the content and equipment drawing file of the attribute file 4. The attribute file 4 is provided with: an equipment attribute information table 6; an optical cable connection information table 7; an optical cable core connection information 8a and an operation history information table 8b; and an optical cable core use information table 9.
