PURPOSE: To provide a cable drum using a boulder plate which is a substitute for a wooden boulder plate and is possible to recycle.
CONSTITUTION: A cable drum 10 is furnished with a cable drum main body formed by having a cylindrical body 12 winding a cable A around it on its center and respectively installing two pieces of circular plates 14 the outer diameter of which is larger coaxially on both ends in the axial direction. After winding the cable A around the cylindrical body 12, a boulder plate 30 connecting outer peripheral parts of the two circular plates 14 of the cable drum main body to each other is installed between the outer peripheral parts along the overall periphery. The boulder plate 30 is fixed on the outer peripheral part of the circular plates by a fixture 40 furnished with a circular plate clamp part 42 which is a rectangular parallelopiped flat plate moulded from plastic main component of which is vinyl chloride resin and which sandwiches the outer peripheral parts of the circular plates 14 and a boulder plate holding part 44 to sandwich the boulder plate 30 in the direction orthogonal with the outer peripheral parts. Additionally a means to improve stepped accumulation stability of the cable drum 10 and fork transportability is provided.
