To provide a cable duct such as a duct for cables and a guide and protection duct which easily allows an additional processing after injection-molded, is inexpensively producible even in producing many different products in small quantities and readily recovers the original shape even after undergoing a process in which it is temporally deformed for processing and its manufacturing process.

The manufacturing process of the cable duct such as the duct for cables and the guide and protection duct comprises a step to extrusion-mold a thermoplastic elastomer having shape restoration force from deformation into a hollow body which has roughly square cross sections and one of the sides of which is composed of two separate layers overlapping with each other in a manner of crossing each other, a step to make an additional processing such as holing and notching to the hollow body while keeping the double layered side open, a step to put back the opened double layered side to the one layer on top of the other or a step to conduct extrusion molding to obtain a molding having roughly trapezoidal cross sections and a step to put back the molding after the outer side and the inner side of the double layered sides are reversed and laid one on top of another.
