Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an armor pipe part of interlinked cable which can be assembled quickly without requiring bolts. SOLUTION: This cable protector comprises first and second shell parts A, B, each having an elongated intermediate part 1 having semi-cylindrical cross-section terminating at first and second end parts, respectively. Each terminal parts 2, 3 has a truncated hollow hemispherical shape, and the first end part 2 of each shell part is clamps the first shell part A to the second shell part B by means of shaft bodies 7, 8 to be interlinked rotatably and a rotatable fixing means, e.g. hooks 18, 18a. Consequently, a pipe having a first hollow spherical part of open end part at one end thereof and a second hollow spherical part of open end part at the other end thereof is formed, and a part of cable is passed through the pipe and contained therein in that state.
