Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable search machine and a cable search method capable of dispensing with operation for allocating receivers to a plurality of cables one by one and alleviating operator's burden.SOLUTION: A cable search machine of the present invention comprises: a receiver receiving an electromagnetic wave radiated from a cable in which a high frequency signal flows among a plurality of cables and detecting an intensity of the electromagnetic wave; drive means holding the receiver and moving the receiver along surfaces of the cables; and position locating means locating a position of the cable in which the high frequency signal flows on the basis of information on the intensity of the electromagnetic wave detected by the receiver and information on a position of the receiver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
