Abstract:
To provide a cable surface printing device which can suppress attachment of printing ink scattering from a printing roll to a cable, and is excellent in printing quality and maintainability.SOLUTION: A cable surface printing device 1 includes a printing roll 12, a housing 10 housing the printing roll 12, and a lid 11 of the housing 10 provided at an upper side of the housing 10, in which the lid 11 has a hollow projection 111 composed of an upper surface curved upward along a roll surface 120 of the printing roll 12 and a side surface along a side surface 121 of the printing roll 12, a part of the upper side of the printing roll 12 is positioned at an inside of the projection 111, the projection 111 has an opening 112 in a region apart from the side surface of the upper surface, the roll surface 120 of the printing roll 12 that is exposed from the opening 112 and to which the printing ink 3 is attached is brought into contact with a surface of the cable 2 above the lid 11 to transfer predetermined information onto the surface of the cable 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
