Abstract:
To provide a cable television receiver in which an increase in circuit scale of a local oscillator is prevented, and a local oscillation signal to be inputted into an FDC Channel reception tuner does not interfere with an FAT Channel reception tuner or an interference level can be reduced.
When a cable card is not connected to the cable television receiver, the local oscillator of the FDC channel receiving tuner is powered down so that the local oscillation signal of the FDC tuner does not interfere with a tuned FAT channel signal band.
