To provide a cable which is used for an automobile, a robot and an electric apparatus, has excellent airtight and watertight functions in a connection part with a terminal to be connected, can prevent corrosion of a conductor of the cable and degradation in performance of apparatus parts connected and has excellent heat resistance, waterproof, extrusion characteristics.
This cable 3 is provided with a coating layer 2 positioned of multicore strunded wire 1 composed of standard insulation conductors. At least the outer most layer 2b of the coating layer 2, comprises a composition composed of 30-70 wt.% thermoplastic polyurethane resin; 5-50 wt.% thermoplastic polyester elastomer; and 3-30 wt.% of at least any one of ternary copolymers used as a base resin, i.e., ethylene-ester acrylate-diode copolymer and ethylene- polyvinyl acetate copolymer. In the composition, a cross-linking treatment is made to make the gas separation ratio 5-40%.
