PURPOSE: To improve operability by providing software to display the menu sheet such as a standard symbol or character string, on a graphic display (GD) for which a tablet and a transparent touch sensor with the same accuracy are attached to the tube surface.1

CONSTITUTION: A super-thin and transparent touch sensor 2 is attached onto a GD 1 and connected with a main body by an RS-232C. As countermeasure for the parallax of the GD 1, a cursor is displayed by a transparent stylus pen 3 and by this pen 3, elements in an electronic menu sheet 4 displayed on the GD 1 are selected according to the instruction of the operator of the software. The sensor 2 is composed of a transparent tablet sheet and respective X-direction and Y-direction sensors and equipped with the resolution of 0.2mm according to a pressure sensitive system, and X and Y cross point coordinates are read by a point reader. Thus, without requiring the change of the existent software, the operability can be improved.
