PURPOSE: To obtain a stable calcium agent having constant qualities and good absorption in body free from impurities, by adding an excipient and synthetic hydroxyapatite.
CONSTITUTION: Slaked lime is reacted with phosphoric acid in water and aged to give hydroxyapatite, which is blended with nutrients such as precipitated calcium carbonate, lactose, de-fatted germ, starch, dextrin, enzyme, amino acid, protein, etc., a very small amount of essential components in body such as iron, zinc, selenium, etc., essence extracted from animal or plant and other necessary elements as an excipient to give a calcium agent in the form of tablet, granule, powder, etc. Further the calcium agent is dissolved in citric acid or the calcium agent and other organic chemicals are dispersed into water with a dispersant and are usable as a calcium drink agent. The calcium agent contains no heavy metals, etc., harmful to human body, is stable, pure and can provide calcium and phosphorus in a molar ratio most suitable for body absorption.
