Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable molding of a sheet which has a uniform thickness and is excellent in a surface condition, by a method wherein, in a calender molding method for thermoplastic sheet, a sheet is rolled out in a state to be nipped during it is in a softening state on the first take-off roll.

CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic sheet S formed by means of calender rolls 1 and 11 is rolled out by means of a take-off roll 2. While the sheet S is in a molten state on the take-off roll 2, it is rolled out passing through the nip formed by the take- off roll and a touch roll 3. With this, the sheet S is peeled off uniformly by means of the touch roll 3, and simultaneously, the sheet S is reduced in a kneading thickness. The thermoplastic sheet, which has an uniform thickness and is excellent in a surface condition, can thus be formed.
