Abstract:
To provide a caliper inspection device which can reduce a product failure rate of a caliper, and a caliper inspection method.SOLUTION: A caliper inspection device 10 for inspecting a caliper 11 having a piping hole 41 to which piping is connected, and a whirl stop hole 61 for stopping a whirl of the piping comprises a guide rod 123, and a sealing head 102 arranged so as to be movable to the guide rod 123. The guide rod 123 is inserted into the whirl stop hole 61, the sealing head 102 moves along the guide rod 123, and is inserted into the piping hole 41, the caliper 11 is inspected by supplying a fluid having pressure different from atmospheric pressure from the sealing head 102, and a possibility that a dent is generated at the piping hole 41 can be thereby reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
