Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of system by displaying whether a route is determined or not by comparing a route number, which is to be returned to an exchange switch, with route determination instruction information supplied by a subscriber database. CONSTITUTION: A call is transmitted to an LEC switch 102, and that switch 102 changes over the call to an IXC switch 104. The switch 104 refers to a network database such as an NCP 108 for a route determination instruction. The NCP 108 processes the reference from the switch 104 and when the call is suitable, the call route determination instruction established by the subscriber can be provided by accessing the ICP ability of network while referring to a subscriber database 104. The NCP 108 outputs this information to the switch 104 in the form of message to be transmitted along with a message route 4. Afterwards, the switch 104 determines the route of call according to the route number such as a switch 112, for example.
