CALL PROCESSING METHOD FOR TELEPHONE AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a call processing method having flexibility and versatility by determining the request of dial information for setting a call at a peripheral information processing equipment connected to a telephone exchange system, and supplying an additional character concerning the call to the exchange system. CONSTITUTION: A peripheral information processing device (IP) 3 connects dialing from a client to a digit receiver 2 of telephone exchange system 1, monitors a signal combining audio and dial signals from a client telephone set 4 and determines whether operation due to the IP is requested or not. When the operation is requested, the digits and voices of client are analyzed, and the character concerning the call is supplied from the IP 3 to the system 1. Then, call setting is controlled corresponding to the character by the system 1 while ignoring stored contents at the receiver 2. Thus, the telephone call processing method improved in flexibility and versatility can be provided for processing various services with high economicity.
