PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the radio communication equipment by which busy state control is immediately terminated by releasing code squelch without employing a termination switch that may be accompanied with mis-operation and cause a high cost.
SOLUTION: A lock section 13 is provided to an upper part of a microphone 12 and a hook 14 is provided to a lower part of a connector 11 of a front panel so as to lock the microphone 12 to the hook 14. Furthermore, the hook 14 is provided with a microphone hook detection circuit 20 to detect it that the microphone 12 is locked to the hook 14. When the microphone hook detection circuit 20 detects it that the microphone is locked, a busy state control function is forcibly terminated so that a natural operation at the end of communication as hooking of the microphone 12 to the hook 14 makes termination possible. Thus, code squelch is released and the busy state control is immediately terminated without provision of a termination switch that may be accompanied with mis-operation and cause a high cost.
