Title:
CALLIPER BODY OF DISK BRAKE FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3721123
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of component items and man-hour for cost reduction when a calliper body of a disk brake for a vehicle is provided for two systems, to obtain braking force having quick response by preventing fluid pressure loss, and to miniaturize the calliper body in size and simplify machining of cylinder holes.
SOLUTION: Two fluid pressure chambers provided for a first brake system located on an outer side of a disk in a peripheral direction are connected together by a pipe material 15. The pipe material 15 is cast when the calliper body 6 is molded. The pipe material 15 is arranged by making a detour of the outside of a peripheral surface of a cylinder hole 9 provided for a second brake system located on an inner side of a disk in a peripheral direction. The cylinder holes 8, 8, and 9 are formed to have the same depth.
