PURPOSE: To perform direct call without a pocket bell terminal device carrier and any operator, by providing a callout response outgoing trunk which converts a DP signal into a PB signal for a subscriber exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: A callout response controlling exchanger 1 is connected to subscriber exchangers 2 and 7 and an antenna 6 via relay exchangers 4 and 9 and a radio callout controlling station 5. Further, a caller dials an instruction code and a callout number indicating the callout with a telephone set 3. When the telephone set 3 dials the number of the caller, this signal is converted into a PB signal via a callout response outgoing trunk 2d and this signal is received at a receiver 1b. The controller 1b transmits the pocket bell number to a control station 5. When a called party response from a telephone set 8, the controller 1b indexes the number of caller and calls out the telephone set 3 with an exchanger 2 to connect the telephone set 8.
