Abstract:
To provide a cam hinge device which can exhibit a closing brake function and a natural opening function in the whole area of a turning range, and to which a cover member with various shapes can be attached.SOLUTION: A cam hinge device includes a bottomed cylindrical case, a slider stored in the case slidably in a first direction, an energizing member for energizing the slider toward an opening, a damper imparting brake force to the slider sliding toward a bottom wall, a lever turnably supported by the case at a peripheral edge of the opening, and a turning shaft protruded to a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and integrally turned with the lever. The lever includes a cam groove which is abutted to an abutment portion of the slider and converts slide force in the first direction of the slider to turning force of the lever. In a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction, a distance between a position at which the abutment portion and the cam groove are abutted with each other and the turning shaft is equal independently of a position of the slider in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
